...Gerald was not best pleased, in fact he was stunned.

He had gone to the council to complain about the parking in the area, and in no time at all, had been given the job of inspecting the cars!!

Apparently they knew about his presence in the area, and felt him being there in official capacity, would give the motorists something to crow about ;-)
