Saturday: Hamamelis mollis - Witch Hazel

Woke up to a rainy morning but a couple of hours later the sun was out and some blue sky, the wind had dropped too.
Chopped some chunks from the very large coir compost brick which arrived yesterday and let it soak in some rainwater.
Finished pruning the Tree Peony  - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2008492 - so that surrounding plants have a chance to grow, especially a favourite of mine … which I cannot for the life of me remember the name … :-((
Did some reading this afternoon whilst MrD went for a long walk ..
