Three years ago there was a pop-up house clearance sale in the old fish store. We bought this, I think for £1. A really substantial carrier for paintings, prints and antique maps.

More to the point, it’s a memento of Glasgow School of Art, now twice burnt out during restoration, creating doubt whether the treasures of Charles Rennie Mackintosh will be seen again.
