St. Valentine

I'm about 2 weeks early but chances are I might not get back to the church on White Friar Street before the 14th of February so today's Blip is of the St. Valentine shrine in this beautiful Dublin church.

The Reliquary containing remains of St. Valentine apparently arrived in the church in 1836 however the shrine and alter weren't built until roughly 1950/1960.

The church was busy today and the shrine will be especially busy over the next couple of weeks.
