Demob Happy....

I had a day off today. From everything! It felt a little bit liberating! The snag in the plan is that I actually have to write my external assessment which has to be submitted in a week's time. Two weeks of no college on a Friday, and you could almost forget that there's something rather important to do! 

I had to get up early as although the plumber couldn't come to sort the radiator (despite over two week's notice), something called a 'magic man' and the carpenter were.... They were only there half an hour, but I still had to be up early, so got up at 7am. 

The sun was out, and I decided to meet Little Ro for breakfast. I can't remember the last time I did this with anybody. I knew I'd ordered a breakfast I'd change my mind about, and I was right, hers was much nicer (and healthier!). We popped into a gift shop and I bought a few cards and a little vase. We went back to her house to see Little B, had another cup of tea, and then I went to mum's.

Lucy and Shelle came over, and we had a nice time. It felt so nice not to be the one that misses out on all the fun, as I'm always at work when everyone gathers. 

Painted my nails, relaxed, and then felt an urgency to work on my assignment. Luckily I had a flash of inspiration last weekend and did more than I thought!
