Family Relic

Among my late aunt's odds and ends I found this photo locket pendant. I don't know who it is - perhaps one of my great grandmothers. The case looks like 9 carat gold, but there are no marks.  I think the photo is rather fine - I suppose it would have been a black and white image that was then coloured by hand.

The wind was rather strong here today. Aberdeen made the news because a woman was killed by a tree.
