A Sunday with early sun, what a treat. Time to vent the house and poke my big lens out the door with the noisy D500 attached. I say this purely because after shooting silently with my mirrorless camera, seems like a no brainer. yes. No.! The D500 is so choice. The fact that it scares everything for a country mile, not so good. Song birds, so highly strung.
I shot from a tripod from inside the front door to try and soften the blow of noisy shutter, and because i cannot handhold a 60mm lens with a camera that doesn't have IBIS.
Also as my wife quite rightly pointed out, you must have money to burn shooting  with the front door open. 
I shrug, and mutter something about its only money.
Thankfully from behind my bren gun i shot only blanks and got a few before breakfast/more like late brunch. i make our bacon..its good
