Sunny morning

Yesterday, with the disappointment of the cancellation, we were tempted to just pack up and go home. In the end we decided to stay and we are so glad we did. It was a glorious morning - bright and sunny and no wind. Perfect for wandering by the sea. It was good to see so many children and parents taking part in a family park run. There were lots of marshals being very encouraging - a great fun event (although some of the youngsters were taking it very seriously indeed!)

Then we had a fine breakfast in the lovely café in Spanish City (see extra), before heading home.
