Green and pheasant land

I didn't get round to taking part in the RSPB Big Bird Watch today. 

But I couldn't help thinking this might have skewed the results. 

In readiness for the coming storm, I cut a ton of dead wood from one of the overgrown bushes. 

Since the tangle of wood is one of the places where the pheasant likes hanging out, I don't imagine it'll be best pleased.
