How Lowe can you go?

A walk around Holt Lowes this morning with E&J in glorious sunshine.  Although we had walked around the wooded area of Holt Country Park before, we had not done the Lowes and it was certainly an interesting walk around heath and scrub land.  Apparently there are six ponies that live on the site to keep the vegetation down; there used to be nine but that number proved rather too successful.  We didn’t see any of them.  My shot is a view of the pond at the edge of the woodland, and I’ve added an extra of Hettys House Tea Room where we sat and had coffee towards the end of the walk whilst being nudged by the dog at the next table who wanted some attention.
