Birdwatching

This weekend was BirdLife Finland's birdwatching weekend, people could send information what bird species and how many individuals they saw in their garden during one freely selected hour today or yesterday. 

I did observations today from 13:00 to 14:00. I saw:

12 Eurasian Siskins (vihervarpunen)
8 Bullfinches (punatulkku)
4 Great Tits (talitiainen)
4 Goldfinches (tikli)
4 Redpolls (urpiainen)
1 Blue Tit (sinitiainen)
1 Eurasian Tree Sparrow (pikkuvarpunen)
1 Brambling

Emma played women's I division game Pyrintö- Kataja Basket in late afternoon.

Plenty of snow ploughing has been done today! We got about 20 centimetres of fresh snow during 24 hours.
