What to read?

From mid afternoon it started to get windy and miserable here, so nothing for it but to finish one book and start another.  I indicated a while back that I was going for Inspector Maigret, but I changed my mind at the last minute and went for something else, so Maigret had to wait in the queue for a bit.  Apparently there are 75 books featuring the detective, plus short stories, so plenty to keep me going.
