My grandma, taken sometime in the 1920s.

I've done a little research on Findmypast today and in 1921 she was teaching at Wadsley Bridge School (Sheffield). Sadly it was demolished in the 1990s. I knew she was a teacher but didn't know where until today.

I also found out that her best friend Connie was working at Rampton Hospital ('Rampton State Institution For Mental Defectives' as it was called back then) near Retford as a nurse. Never knew that either. I can see this census is going prove interesting.
