River Crossing

Gorgeous day for a walk in Linton's Pocket Park.  Someone has been working very hard clearing it and it looks great.  Martin even had a little swing over the river much to Jess's delight since she would play in the water all day.

Back home for some tidying of the garden whilst listening to a novel I bought Ben about Mexico called 'American Dirt' by Jeanine Cummins.  It's scaring me to death as it's about the violence and the cartels and a mother and son's journey to try and escape to America.  It's got me gripped, but it is not happy holiday-to-Mexico reading.
