Free flowers

I was given free flowers on the way out of Waitrose today. I think they were out of date but they’ve revived perfectly at home. It was a nice thing to happen. I finally put the big bird feeder outside again and some fatballs. We haven’t seen any sign of rats for over 6 months now. We’re pretty sure they were around because the man at the back kept pigeons. He’s got rid of the birds and knocked down the shed. Rather bizarrely, he denies having pigeons even though we could see them flying and hear them cooing in the shed.
