Day tripping

We were up and out early to catch the 9am ferry to Formentera. In the summer we had a family stay in our flat whilst we were in Portugal. They kindly gave some money specifically for us to get the boat and come here for a day, so today we cashed it in!
We had breakfast on the beach at Illetes (extra pic) and played, napped, read books...then headed to this beach at Es Pujols where the others went in the very very cold sea. Asha's wanted to swim to this little island for a long time, so she was pleased that she, Danny and Mitch managed it today!
Home via the lighthouse at Cap Barbaria. We caught the 6pm ferry home so got to watch the sunset from the boat.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) This thoughtful gift from Emily, Pasha and co.
2) The book I'm reading at the mo by one of the 24-7 guys in South Africa. No Neutral Ground; Finding Jesus in a Cape Town Guetto. By Pete Portal. It was quite odd to feel like I was in South Africa (an absorbing book!), look up and realise I was in Formentera, but be able to see Ibiza!
3) Good time as a household - good fun and good chat. Question of the day; can you talk about 3 turning points in your life? Fascinating listening to each others answers and deeper life stories and reflections.
