Not such an easy day

We planned a (relatively) short walk from Ennerdale Water up the steadier - but longer path to Great Borne. We lost the path and zig zigged for what felt too long before finally summiting, occasional gaps in the clouds enabling a confident orientation to Starling Dodd - Malik swirling around up there! Struggled to find the path down the front of Great Borne, and when we did it was a challenging steep down a fissure in the mountain - shown in the blip - heavy rain accompanying the wind - and the cloud moving in and out.  J took a video of the waterfall blowing upwards!
Not the best weekend we’ve ever had in Lakes if I’m honest, I’d like to come back here in kinder weather, but a welcome shift of focus, what a privilege to be here and blow off a few cobwebs!  - and another 2 hard earned ticks
Back home, bathed, fed and catching up with the highlights of the Men’s tennis final - phenomenal!
