Sparkle on a Sunday

Slept heavy didnt wake up until 8.45, came down made a brew and took it back to bed for half an hour, before I got showered and ready to go meet sis in Manchester.

Got over there early ish, gave me time for a coffee and a bacon roll to tide me over as I hadnt had anything before I left….. enjoyed as always.

Waited for sis to emerge, as she had taken Kobi for a quick walk around the block before leaving him for a few hours.

We drove into the City centre, parked in the Arena car park, then walked through, bags checked, tight security, found our seats, great view…..to watch the razzle dazzle that is Strictly :-)

The Show was really good, great spectacle!Could have done without Bruno returning to the judging panel though, gets on my wick lol! Rose & Gio won the Glitterball on tv, as they did in Manchester….. be interesting to know who wins in the various venues on tour……. if anyone else is going??!

Took us over an hour to got out of the car park, lots of frayed tempers, horns, one woman got out of her car and gave a fella what for cos he didn’t let her reverse out of her space!! We were meeting BiL at rhe Sangam for a curry….. we got in the car at 4.20, cost £12 parking, drove 1km to where we usually park outside the restaurant, not a single metre/parking space free….. into another car park, by which time it was pouring down, joined BiL it was 5.20…. talk about stressed lol!!!

Curry was fab, said our goodbyes, another £7 for parking…… drove home in the pouring rain. The M62 now has 4 lanes unbelievable how many vehicles were sitting in the third lane doing less than 60mph!!

Home, changed, made a cuppa and sat down just in time to watch Good Karma Hospital followed by Trigger Point, enjoyed both.

Not looking forward to tomorrow, dentist, extraction :-(
