When I first joined a gym, many years ago, the weights were often slightly rusty old discs of cast iron, usually painted black.

Now the modern weights in a fitness centre look more like art pieces, with interesting shapes, sizes and colours. These weights found in a local Adelaide gym are made in Columbus, Ohio.
