Middleport Flour Mill......

....also known in the past as Port Vale Corn Mill is situated on the Trent and Mersey Canal in Stoke on Trent. It was built around 1844 and fell into disuse in the 1960's.
The flour would have been loaded directly into horse drawn canal barges. Like so many canal side buildings, it has fallen into disrepair.
