Make A Wish

Today was my daughter's birthday. I made her a chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and strawberry filling, and frosted with Swiss Meringue Chocolate Buttercream.

Needless to say, we have a lot of cake leftover, and I hope it freezes well, as my other daughter was very unhappy that she could not be here for dinner tonight.

Birthdays are so exciting when we are young. It used to be all parties and gifts, but today, we celebrated with a great meal and this special cake.

Simple, yet filled with memories as we looked through old photos and remembered birthdays past.

Another happy birthday. Full of love.
