A tiresome cold kept me in all weekend so I had to nip out at lunchtime today to get some fresh air while the sun shone.
I know it's how it works, but I always feel a bit sad when I see the Forestry felling trees. Having said that, Cademuir Hill is one of my favourite walks because of the views revealed by extensive felling before I moved to the area. However, the replanted saplings have really started to shoot up over the last couple of years, and I was thinking today that there won't be stunning views from up there for very much longer. I guess it's the lifecycle of that kind of forest.
