Cold, Bright, Beautiful Day
Started with the rainbow as I headed to Petersfield at 9am to, finally, take my car to be washed and valeted.
Had a very enjoyable time whilst waiting, first browsing in bookshops where delightful conversations were had with the booksellers and the first (in the series, not edition!) Famous Five purchased for Lily. Then sat in St Peter’s Chruch followed by a visit to the superb library. An oat milk cappuccino followed, sitting outside of one the the coffee shops. Looked at the Moorcroft in the shop window, pretty mug £195.00, then waited on a bench under the branches and the beautiful blue sky. The car wash in the carpark was very busy and what should have been a two hour wait turned into three but on this beautiful day I did not mind. Now to finish Still Life by Sarah Winman before it is returned to the Midhurst library and the two in the photo requested.
Thank you all for your kind responses to the winter jasmine and for the stars and special hearts.
