Early start

This morning we saw some early light on the castle. The rays from the sun seemed to light up the sky behind. Extra is some of the harbour workers who were crowded into a tiny boat. They made us smile.
Rusky the little dog we are caring for had to be dropped off at the vet’s because he is having a cruciate ligament replaced in one leg. The x rays last week showed the ligament had snapped. It is going to be a long road to recovery for him. He will need to be on the lead even in the garden for the next 12 weeks. We must stop him from jumping or running if he is to recover well.
Then we helped our daughter construct some cube shelves she needed. After which we picked up the girls for supper and the rest of the evening. The wind is picking up here now and looks like a few days of wind ahead.
