Hythe fishing beach

We sprang Doreen from her care home for a day out at the coast. We had lunch at the Lazy Shack on the beach on a recommendation.

It was a good recommendation, the fish and chips excellent and the Lazy Shack suitably laidback with walls covered in all sorts of memorabilia of a seaside location.

On balance it wasn’t the best plan. A sunny day as you can see with a cold wind that didn’t suit Doreen. Getting in snd out of the car is becoming an almost impossible challenge. I think she would have preferred window shopping in an inside shopping mall.

She was back in time for tea snd we were left to reflect on how best to meet her need to be taken out for a change of scenery.
