Birch trees

We ventured into the woods today.  There are a few more trees down, including the one that was leaning over on 20 January, which is now completely down.  But even where the trees are still fine, there are broken small branches everywhere, some ready to trip you up.  

Sad today to learn that Norma Waterson, one of folk music's greatest voices, died yesterday.  I heard her first on the radio in 1966 or '67.
