A Gift

The pandemic has been hard on all of us, but people who work with the public are really worn out. I won't tell the whole story from yesterday, but the cashier at Trader Joe's gave me these flowers at no charge after thanking me for being kind to her. I felt sad that she was not being treated kindly, but grateful for her kindness.
