Light Relief

In order to relieve the monotony of white snow I pointed my camera heavenwards today and embraced the light. I always enjoy the graceful lines of this tree and today, its silhouette, against a pale warm sun. I found the out of focus rendition more appealing, it seems to shimmer as if a mirage.
