Living my dream

Accidentally I captured a bumble bee in flight, heading for the flowers. How cool.

These scarlet runner plants have been slower than ever to bear beans. I’ve had three small dishes so far this year, when I would usually be swamped.

However if the flowers are anything to go by, and if they all set, I will soon be raking them in. In the meantime they put on a beautiful bright show on their wigwam.

The IBS is definitely less painful and disruptive today, although I’ve a way to go before I’ll dare eat a (small) bowl of raspberries. At least I have more energy and got most of the grass cut which is always a red letter day, especially with rain in the forecast.

The extra is the main lawn which I mowed at the slowest pace ever, to make sure I got it done. I do like a neatly cut lawn, but I can’t be bothered to keep it short all the time. I’ll enjoy this for a few days.
