Why is it always so much harder to pack your case to go home?

I am fortunate that this case expands or we would have had to buy another one to get home!

Mind you I bought a new backpack and my older but quite a bit bigger one has had to go into the case….plus in my defence I have all of the gifts we’ve bought family and friends and even a couple of birthday presents too!

Slightly confusing information from our flight company saying we can check in and add our passenger locator details for the flight but the government web site says it’s too early because it measures the time from when the flight lands…not when it takes off…so we will have to wait until this evening to do our forms…

Our house sitters have got everything ready for our arrival home which is great so nothing to worry about! We are fortunate to have such great friends and family to take care of things when we’re away…
