When life gives you lemons

or in this case the nets of lemons past their sell by date in the Community Fridge , plus out of date baguette, it seems only right to make Queen of Puddings, trouble is I've only got 1 egg, so instead of this being pud tonight it will be tomorrow night after getting fresh supplies of free range eggs from Pixiewood tomorrow. Where did that idea come from??? I've no idea. I've never made Queen of Puddings before. Not another culinary disaster I hope. LOL!! ;-DDDD
A chilly dull day outside so an opportunity to tackle the sagging pine book cases, a thin out, Brainwave charity shop, & CK village library will benefit tomorrow. A catch up with e.mails. Now off to make a big pan of hearty vegetable soup, tonight's supper with some crusty bread, or maybe dumplings.
