Iris reticulata

What a wonderful splash of colour these iris's provide at this time of year.  I have 3 pots of them by the front door and they are bringing a lot of pleasure.
Its been a day off for me with a morning cooking and then a walk to the new organic supermarket with 'M' this afternoon.  We saw a large flock od Red Wings and Starlings on the way, as we walked through the park.
Later on I have my jogging group-hope we don't get blown away.
