Capturing my Journey

Storm Corrie distruction

Firstly we are all safe and well. Caravan and awning in tact. But Id say we were very very lucky. The top photo is the missing tin shed that was next to us in the caravan. As you can see the pick up got a speared bumper but that is all. This shed must have took off as it cleared all the buildings and took out a couple of trees and ended up strewn across the crop field (bottom right picture) when it took off it did glance the aspestos roofed shed above the caravan so we were showered with aspestos projectiles. Some dents in the caravan but nothing came through thankfully. The bottom left picture is the once was horses shelter. Horses absolutely fine so must have got out before it came down. We actually couldn't leave the caravan to go to any safety in the night it was too dangerous. So we stayed put awake all night clothes on incase we needed to run for it. Got 2 hours kip at 5am when the wind finally eased. Then assessing the damage and clear up.

Awning packed away. Caravan moved out the shed as its no longer safe in there for it. No power yet but just got phone signal back which is nice.
