Long-tailed tit

There were very few birds around last weekend for the Great Garden Birdwatch but they've come out of hiding today.  I had a nuthatch visiting the garden this morning but didn't stay to have it's photo taken.

I was luckier when a pair of Long-tailed tits arrived and were hopping around my hawthorn tree.

I'm missing tonight's panto practice as I have to go for a session/ceilidh band practice for Saturday's gig. There are a group of musicians for the panto so they'll manage without me.
