Fallen stone
I spotted this stone lying in the heather close to a boundary stone. Its shape and length (about 1 metre) suggests that it was once upright and served a purpose.
A very windy day, all day. A trip to the post office this morning in the village with Stanley, followed by writing to my local MP about my concerns for our democratic systems and standards in public office, following the report on the leadership of the Prime Minister. Duets this afternoon with Bill was a welcome return to focusing on one aspect of what makes life enjoyable and meaningful.
