Hidden Fittie

Following the gales overnight I thought I would head over to the beach. By the morning the wind had dropped and the weather felt quite calm. This was reflected in the sea, which was also surprisingly calm.

This photo looks over to Fittie, but in this view only the roofs of the cottages can be seen, while the buildings themselves are hidden behind the sea wall. Very wise considering what the sea must have been like in the gales over the last few days.

In the garden of my apartment a large branch has been detached from one of the trees. On Sunday evening the electricity flickered once or twice, so the power supply may have been struggling. But once again we seem to have got through the storm pretty much unscathed.
