Tiny Tuesday: "On the turn"

I think cut flowers can be beautiful as they age. The tulips I posted on the last two Flower Fridays are just at the point when their petals, previously smooth and succulent, are becoming papery and wrinkled, and I thought they'd suit a macro shot.

Having thoroughly enjoyed it last year, I'm once again joining Skeena on his Mono Month Challenge. Looking forward to seeing what subjects I can find for black and white for the rest of February!
