Yikes!

50 bare root copper beech hedging plants turned up yesterday evening. Unexpectedly. From Wisley. Well, I did order them but wasn't expecting them quite so soon. Have put them in the greenhouse for the moment as no time to plant. They were on sale. A good deal. in october 2020 i bought 20 similar plants from Best4Hedging. at the weekend i dug out 14 dead ones - so rather not best 4 hedging in this particular case. Which was sad. So I am hoping that I will have greater success with the Wisley offering. (they certainly look healthier)
