Amaryllis

I was looking back at my Blip from a year ago yesterday and it referred to an "ageing magnolia". That same tree has buds, but no sign of blooms. With the piles of snow still slowly fading on the lawn, it is a clear reminder that this year's weather has been, well, peculiar.

It's overcast and quite chilly this morning. There seems little chance of the sun breaking through so I have chosen an indoor blip today - of a gorgeous Amaryllis that I was given as a Christmas present.
