Perth springing

A busy morning.  
Walk pup to vet, only to be told she had to stay.  Fasted overnight she was hangry. She wanted breakfast which was at home. I sprinted home, they took blood and I drove back to vet's. 
A dash to Perth to collect a gyro Kong, (don't  ask) from the boarder only to be told, 'She might have eaten a bulb'. For those who don't know, bulbs can be toxic, cause organ failure  and kill a dog, never mind a puppy.
Only one word,
Raging!
The vet informed say she would have been over the worst by now, but could explain the GI upset.

Poor pup and yes us too. Sunday night was the worst we have ever suffered.

To say I was tired before going out to evening  class was an understatement.  Didn't  excuse my very poor performance. 
Must do better. Assessment looming, I fear pup and lack of study are no excuse for aged brain.

Better than the alternative.
