Some news

The surgeon's office called this morning and I now have a date for my surgery: February 28.  That feels a long way off and frighteningly close at the same time.  What's really great is that it will take place at Northwest Hospital, less than a mile from my home; I thought we would have to go to  downtown Seattle. There are several preliminary appointments to get through before then, but they're well spaced out.  I have no appointments tomorrow.

This beautiful object is a teapot that Manda gave me for Hanukkah.  I love the colors and the shape.
