Winter Light Festival Begins

This "Twinkly Tree" is part of a grand effort to brighten up Portland's winter nights in February. Because I love night photography, I've wanted to attend every year since it started, but every year has brought pouring rain and freezing cold, and I just couldn't. Officially it begins Friday, but the Twinkly Trees have already been installed and turned on. 

Bella will be with me on Friday, so fingers crossed for the weather to be bearable. If it is, we'll go downtown and see what there is to see.
