Helland bridge

Nice flat gentle 4 mile run down the camel trail. Checked out the damage on bridge which has been closed for some time.
This well-preserved four-arch medieval bridge dating from the early 15th century carries a C-class road over the River Camel. Because it provides a handy short-cut the road (and the bridge) is used by a very high volume of traffic from locals to commercial and tourist traffic. The bridge is subject to repeated damage and repair events and is still therefore classed as vulnerable until further mitigation is undertaken to reduce the risks of repeated damage.
