Trainspotter
Clapham Junction from the other weekend. Routes from the south and south-west pass through here en-route to the London stations of Victoria and Waterloo. Up to 180 trains per hour pass through it making it the busiest in the UK, if not Europe.  It’s also the only railway station in Great Britain with more interchanges than entries or exits (none visible on this stretch).

As a 10 year old it was quite an adventure travelling from the very outskirts of London to this station with my friend to mark off some locomotive/ diesel multiple units/electric multiple units serial numbers from our trainspotting books. The only time I have done that.

Rugby
Very constructive chat today with the head of junior rugby at Newark Rugby Club; a far bigger and competitive club than ours they give him the title Director. A recent ex-player of theirs is currently playing for England - Joe Heyes.
