Waiting for opening time

There was quite a queue waiting for the library to open this morning, including a lot of children although they were going into the art gallery which is through the same entrance. We had an annoyingly wasted journey as it was not possible to access the newspaper archive we wanted to look at without an appointment. Never mind, we’re going on friday instead! This is to look at various local newspaper articles on the slavery abolition movement in Southampton for the project on Southampton and Slavery for the Exhibition later this year.
