Chaffinch

We ventured into another part of the woods today. There's been lots more damage, but mostly saplings and dead trees, as in my 3rd extra.  The other two extras are a tree that has snapped, and the bit of trunk left behind.  The damage does not seem to be worrying the birds - there were several flitting about just half in sight.
