Fishing

A view of the fishing quay from the local marina. This was the only photo we took today on the way back from the vets. The day has been calm and reasonably warm. Our daughter and Miss Victoria came for a vegetarian supper of butternut squash risotto as Miss V has recently become a vegetarian.

Rusky cried for most of last night and again this morning. We felt he wasn’t in pain but somehow anxious and unsettled. Heartbreaking to see the poor fellow so distressed so we took him back to see the vet at lunchtime because we felt the Fentanyl patch was possibly having undesirable side effects. The vet came to the same conclusion without us mentioning it and removed it. Rusky had a pain killing injection instead.
During the afternoon he has become much happier and settled although still not eating anything.
