Erythronium
I didn't actually know these were part of the erythronium family but just looked it up to add some specifics. In hindsight it is obvious given the leaves and flower shape but always thought they were closer to lilies and the like (well I suppose erythonium is part of that family if I am being biologically correct).
Anyway, I have learnt something new.
I'd call them dogtooth violet which makes sense given their latin name. But really not very violet like. Lovely wee things which can be a bit invasive but with lovely wee things that is not an issue.
