Dad's tree

On her 80th birthday we took Mom to Dad's tree at the National Memorial Arboretum. It was good to see the tree looking healthy, and to see the little daffodils flowering. We put the Ukrainian flag colour ribbons on to make it easier to locate the tree. Thank goodness the ground was not sodden so we could get right up to the tree. It is not far from the big Armed Forces Memorial.

We then went to nearby Tatenhill for lunch and spent a couple of hours just lounging and chatting. Very enjoyable.
