London rooftops

Yesterday M and l went into town to the British Library to see the Elizabeth and Mary exhibition.  It was excellent and so many old treasures on display as part of it.  The one thing l came away with after learning about court intrigues, murders, beheadings, wars and petty jealousies was that if those two women, cousins, had been left to get on with it and allowed to meet and not had men interfering all the time how much easier and pleasant it would have been, especially considering the fact that Mary's son eventually became King of both countries anyhow.
The rooftops are those of St. Pancras, arent they wonderful?.

Weatherwise: yesterday was like a Spring day but not so today, at 10am today it is 8°C but feels like 7.  A high of 11, no sun, no rain, heavy cloud.
